Hair loss and wigs
As we prepare to support Tesco and Cancer Research UK's Race for Life, we thought we would highlight the work of Cancer Research.
Every two minutes someone is diagnosed with cancer, and that's why this year we need more women than ever before to join teh girls at events across the UK.
For information on hair loss and wigs, the cancerhelp site is helpful:

Stepping out of the frame
Beaconsfield High School presents:
Stepping out of the frame....onto the runway
On Wednesday 6 April, Year 12 students have organised a fashion show which is part of their evaluation process for their Textiles AS Level coursework. It is a great opportunity to celebrate the success of their work and the work from textile students in other year groups.
The show will incorporate garments from the following;
· Year 7 hats linked to the Teenage Cancer trust fundraising project
· Year 9 garments are based on their current project ‘The Lion King’
· Year 10 garments are their GCSE coursework based on themes set by the exam board
· Year 11 is a mixed range of products based around their own personal challenge for the Arts Award
· Year 12 products are based on the theme of confectionery
· Year 13 products are based on the theme of ‘London’. Students have incorporated this theme into their work in a way that they feel reflects their view of London
Doors open at 6.30pm.
Local boutique will be giving the girls some ideas for Prom dresses and www.4myhead.com who are supporting The Teenage Cancer Trust will be selling a selection of scarves and bandanas.
Tickets are £5 each and include a ‘goody bag’. If you would like to purchase a ticket, please contact the school.
