4myhead.com, an online shop for hats and scarves, and a charity that helps young people fight cancer, are pleased to announce the launch of a special competition for Beaconsfield High School (BHS). BHS students will submit hat designs for teenagers who are being treated for cancer.
The competition and the hat that is produced will be in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust, which funds and builds specialist state-of-the-art units for young people with cancer in NHS hospitals across the UK.
In 1995, BHS became one of the first schools in the country to be designated a Technology Specialist College. Through this competition, students in Year 7 will learn about Textiles Technology, enabling them to make informed choices for designing their hats.
Since its debut, 4myhead.com has supported and organised many events that support cancer research and treatment, helping to raise over £3,000 for national charities and institutes.
